Set in the heart of Cheshire, we are a forward-thinking and diverse estate dedicated to creating environments that foster well-being, connectivity and growth. We are 10 minutes from Manchester Airport, 30 minutes from Manchester city centre and 45 minutes from Liverpool.

Tatton Estate stands as East Cheshire's most expansive family owned private estate, spanning 5,500 acres and encompassing 400 diverse commercial and residential properties. Our approach fuels our mission to curate thriving communities and businesses, seamlessly integrated after our villages and farmsteads.

The Tatton Estate is overseen by professional trustees and managed by Fisher German LLP and advisors.

We are deeply grateful for the chance to contribute to the communities in the villages and towns we consider home. Our dedication to fostering social value has led us to support a wide range of local projects, including open access to Knutsford Heath for everyone to enjoy.

We offer our venues free of charge to numerous charitable organisations such as the National Garden’s Scheme, The Knutsford Royal May Day, Scouts Association, and The Country Trust. Our support extends to a variety of local organisations and businesses, including sports clubs, farms, shops, homes and a school, all of which are essential to the vibrancy and wellbeing of our community.

The fund aims to foster a business and residential community grounded in trust, integrity and mutual growth. Tatton Estate Fund aims to:

ABOUT US

Peover Hall & Estate

Peover Hall, an Elizabethan residence, is a remarkable treasure with an intriguing past. It continues to serve as a family home, and its history dates to 1585 when Sir Randle Mainwaring commissioned its construction. Later, in the 1760s, a new wing was added by the fourth baronet, Sir Henry. The hall and estate were purchased by the Peels in 1919, and eventually came into the ownership of the Brooks family two decades later.
