Ground investigation work begins this week at the Bluebell Village site, marking an important next step in preparing the land for new homes in Knutsford. The two-week programme will gather essential data to support the detailed technical design.
The work will involve the use of specialist machinery to dig trial holes and collect ground samples. A small, temporary welfare compound will be in place next to Mereheath Lane, which will be removed once investigations are complete.
Planning permission was granted at committee in May 2024, and this phase of works reflects the Tatton Estate’s commitment to delivering a high-quality, sustainable development for the area.
These investigations are a standard part of responsible development and will help ensure the site is fully understood before any further works begin.
We’ll continue to provide updates via our website and Facebook page.
