The inaugural GREEN EXPO was held in Chester this week and highlighted what had been achieved so far in the North West for sustainable and green energy. Local organisations and individuals came together to discuss the impact of climate change and what local organisations can do to adapt to a climate conscious economy. Mr Henry Brooks and Annette McDonald were in attendance at the event and awarded Jonathan Brereton from Urban Growth Company the Tatton award for innovation in residential markets. Mr Henry Brooks then went on to give a talk about retrofit throughout the Tatton Estate and the difficulties and need for financial and policy support in order to achieve carbon neutral targets. The event was throughly enjoyed by all that attended, from large organisations to individuals throughout the North West and offered an insight into how new sustainable technologies will start to impact upon lives and businesses in the near future.
