The semi-detached cottage is at the end of a single-track lane with no passing traffic, making it a perfect setting if you’re looking to switch off and relax.

Yet it’s a great base if you’re looking to get out and explore what the area has to offer because it’s close to towns and villages including Altrincham, Hale, Lymm and Knutsford.

The cottage, still with its original quarry tiled floors and fireplace, has two double bedrooms upstairs as well as a study. On the ground floor is a warm and welcoming sitting room with an open fire. There is a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and the bathroom leads off this on the ground floor.

The large rear garden is perfect for spending lazy summer days or why not have a barbecue in the evening. It’s a great space for children – or a pet - to run around.

When it was built in the 19^th Century, the cottage was part of the Millington Estate, owned by Lord Egerton, a stone quarry entrepreneur.
