About Knowsley Hall

Knowsley Hall is a magnificent stately home dating back to the late 14thCentury and is the private ancestral home to The 19th Earl & Countess of Derby. It sits prominently within 2,500 acres of a private walled estate.

The Hall has a fascinating structure, boasting a classic Georgian façade and some extremely fine Jacobean, Baroque and Victorian interiors, including the breathtaking 58 foot long State Dining Room with its impressive carved oak paneling and majestic gold chandelier.

The estate is enclosed by a 9.5 mile stone wall featuring many follies along its length, including a rather wonderful Octagon and a log cabin presented by the people of Canada. The vast landscape within the Knowsley Estate includes untouched parkland, pristine lakes, stunning gardens and rolling farmland.

The estate has played host to a range of productions over the years, including Hollyoaks, Young Dracula and Coronation Street.

It is conveniently located close to major motorway networks linking Liverpool and Manchester making it easily accessible.
